Women in Trades Summit

Also on September 24th, Vote Nevada is co-sponsoring a Candidate Forum at the CSN North Las Vegas Campus, in the Student Union Ballroom, between 5 and 7 pm.  We are working with the CSN student government, the CSN Women’s Alliance, and an array of community organizations.  Candidates will be invited to speak about the role of elected officials in promoting civic engagement.  There will be a Zoom option for virtual participation.

I often hear from Nevadans who have stopped voting that they do not feel their voices are heard after elections.  We hope to partner with elected officials to help make these voters feel that they can be engaged in civic processes after the election to ensure their voices are heard.

I will send more information about this Candidate Forum later this week.

Thank you for being Nevadans with me,
