More event and meeting updates! August is turning into a very busy month, hopefully, this will translate into high voter turnout in the upcoming election and eager advocates engaging in the legislative session.

Sunday, August 14, 2022, 10:00 to 11:30 am, via Zoom

Join Vote Nevada to meet Matt Cremins, co-founder of a new civic engagement networking platform called Civil Talk.  Civil Talk allows nonprofits to network nationally and allows civically engaged volunteers to find matches with nonprofits working on their issues.  


Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 6:00 to 7:30 pm, via Zoom

Join Northern Nevada Marches Forward for a review of Ballot Questions 1 & 2.  Ballot Question 1 will add an Equal Rights Amendment to our state constitution and Ballot Question 2 will add to the state constitution that Nevada’s minimum wage cannot drop below $12 by 2024.

The Nevada Voters First team is hosting a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).  The username is Nevada Voters First (u/NevadaVotersFirst).  You will need a Reddit account to participate, which you can do here:  You can review the purpose of an AMA here:

The team will answer questions related to Ballot Question 3, which will implement open primaries with ranked choice voting in the general election.
