Vote Nevada Supporters,
I hope everyone had a safe and restful holiday. I wanted to share with you a recorded workshop hosted by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture on Oral History:
Soul Talk: An Oral History Workshop and Discussion: https://nmaahc.si.edu/connect/advancement/soul-talk
We are continuing to work with the Las Vegas Alliance of Black School Educators leadership team to gather the history of the organization. Current President of the Village Foundation and former CCSD Trustee and LVABSE President, Dr. Linda Young, is also working with the Las Vegas Ministers Alliance of Southern Nevada, which partners with LVABSE, to prepare to write their history. She could use some help with organizing documents and typing information into narrative timelines.
If anyone is interested in volunteering to help with this project, please let me know by responding to this message.
