Vote Nevada Supporters,
Early voting continues through June 10th. You can submit your mail-in ballot, or you can vote in person. If you decide to vote with your mail-in ballot, be sure to sign on the back of the envelope. You can put your mail-in ballot in the mailbox, the postage is pre-paid, or you can take your completed mail-in ballot to any vote center. Do not stand in line at the vote center, go directly in and follow all instructions for mail-in ballot submission once you are inside.
If you vote in person, either surrender your mail-in ballot when you check-in at the vote center or destroy your mail-in ballot after you vote in person.
We will know who won each race on June 24th.

For our meeting this Saturday, June 4th, via Zoom, from 9 to 10:30 am, we will be discussing what could happen if Roe v. Wade is overturned. Specifically, we will discuss the unenumerated right to privacy as well as the Equal Rights Amendment ballot question that will be up for a vote in November. This ERA ballot question will amend our state constitution.
You can listen to a short NPR show about the right to privacy and the broader risks if that right is overturned here: https://www.wbur.org/onpoint/2022/05/31/the-fragility-of-unenumerated-rights

We have a new event scheduled to watch the documentary Still Working 9 to 5, which documents the women’s labor movement. After the viewing, we will have Q&A with Zoey Nicholson, who is featured in the film, and Lilly Ledbetter, who will attend via Zoom. At the end of the event, we will discuss action items we can do to ensure the state ERA ballot measure passes in November.
The event is on June 22nd, 5:30 to 8:00 pm, at the College of Southern Nevada North Las Vegas Campus, Building A, Room 1772. This is a campus map: https://www.csn.edu/about-us/campus-locations/nlv-campus
