The Vote Nevada Mental and Behavioral Health Committee is meeting via Zoom Tuesday, April 19th, from 6 to 7 pm, to review the allocation of American Rescue Plan funds for mental health in Nevada and will hear from a community member who runs a private psychological services business about the barriers she faces. The ACLU NV has a recorded forum with two of the Clark County District Attorney Candidates and an upcoming event at The Mob Museum on April 20th, at 7 pm, on the topic of Prison Reform in Nevada. On April 21st, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, via Zoom, the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement is Celebrating Earth Day with an Ask the Expert: How Does the EPA Help Keep Lake Tahoe Blue? The Expert panelists include Laura Patten, Senior Science Policy Analyst for the League to Save Lake Tahoe; Alexis Hill, Washoe County Commissioner; and Shane Piccinini Government Relations and Public Policy Advocate.
