Nevada NOW has a tele-town hall with the three southern Nevada members of Congress tomorrow, April 18th, at 4 pm.  You can RSVP to attend here:

The Vote Nevada Mental and Behavioral Health Committee is meeting via Zoom Tuesday, April 19th, from 6 to 7 pm, to review the allocation of American Rescue Plan funds for mental health in Nevada and will hear from a community member who runs a private psychological services business about the barriers she faces. If you are interested in attending, email to receive the Zoom link.

The ACLU NV has a recorded forum with two of the Clark County District Attorney Candidates and an upcoming event at The Mob Museum on April 20th, at 7 pm, on the topic of Prison Reform in Nevada.  You can watch the recorded forum and RSVP for the Mob Museum event here:

On April 21st, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, via Zoom, the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement is Celebrating Earth Day with an Ask the Expert: How Does the EPA Help Keep Lake Tahoe Blue? The Expert panelists include Laura Patten, Senior Science Policy Analyst for the League to Save Lake Tahoe; Alexis Hill, Washoe County Commissioner; and Shane Piccinini Government Relations and Public Policy Advocate.

The UNLV Native American Association Earth Day Powwow for the Planet event is on April 23rd, from 11 am to 6 pm, at UNLV.  You can find more information about attending here:

Also on April 23rd, from 6 to 7 pm, via Zoom, Vote Nevada is hosting a forum on the Hawaiian Sovereignty Movement. You can RSVP here:

On April 28th, from 10 to 11 am, via Zoom, the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement is Celebrating Law Day with a second Ask the Expert: Why is the Constitution Considered a Dynamic Document?  The Expert Panelists are Dr. David Tanenhaus, UNLV History Professor; and Author George Van Cleave, Georgetown University Law.
