Primary election season is in full swing, so we have a meeting scheduled for April 9, 2022, 9-10:30 am, via Zoom, to review the changes to this year’s election processes based on the laws passed in the 2021 legislative session.  There are quite a few and some intersect with laws passed through ballot initiatives and the 2019 legislative session.

To help dispel misinformation, it is very important to know what will change and the authority for those changes.

Other events this month:

April is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, so we will look at the Hawaiian Sovereignty Movement on April 23^rd, via Zoom.  This meeting will be at 6 pm.

I have been working with the former Nevada State College student body president about starting a new nonprofit.  Suman would like to help women translate all the skills we’ve developed to get our families through this pandemic into blinged-out resumes.  April 30^th, via Zoom, also at 6 pm.
