Also on Monday, August 2^nd, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, via Zoom, you can watch the Nevada Advisory Committee on Participatory Democracy meeting. The meeting will be broadcast on Facebook Live through the Secretary of State’s Facebook page.  Deputy Secretary of State Mark Wlaschin will review the election-related bills that passed in the 2021 legislative session and their implementation.  This includes AB321. On Wednesday, August 4^th, 6-7:30 pm, via Zoom, our topic is Redistricting Software Training.  We will introduce the redistricting software our legislators will use to draw our district maps in October.  Anyone with a computer will be able to access this software. Legislatively, we are waiting for the interim committees to be formed and to start meeting.  There is one committee that aligns with each legislative committee that runs during the interim, so there are opportunities to engage in policy development in-between legislative sessions.  The interim committees, along with their members, will appear on this page: https://www.leg.state.nv.us/App/InterimCommittee/REL/Interim2021/CommitteeList

Once the committees are created and members are appointed, we can begin tracking each committee’s agenda topics and provide constituent input.
