The Governor presents his budget and legislative priorities on January 15^th in his State of the State Address.  You can watch the livestream at 6 PM through the legislature’s website: https://www.leg.state.nv.us/App/Calendar/A/

You will also see on the Legislative Calendar page the Legislative Commission’s Budget Subcommittee hearings between January 21^st through 29^th.  State agency heads will present their budget requests at these meetings.  If you cannot watch live, they will be recorded and archived to watch here: https://www.leg.state.nv.us/Video/

Vote Nevada is sponsoring a Nonpartisan Caucus this legislative session.  We kicked things off last Saturday and discussed the group’s focus: Solving Problems.  What problems need to be fixed and what problems are the Governor and the legislature addressing?

If we have problems that will not be addressed this legislative session, then we must find alternative solutions to fix those problems now, not in two years.  We simply cannot waste any more time.
