Vote Nevada Supporters,
If you missed today’s Senate confirmation hearing for Ketjani Brown-Jackson, PBS Newshour has a YouTube channel with hearing recordings: https://www.youtube.com/c/PBSNewsHour
Tomorrow is the Advisory Committee on Participatory Democracy meeting, from 2 to 4 pm. The meeting will live-stream through the Secretary of State’s Facebook page, here: https://www.facebook.com/NVSOS
Deputy Secretary of State for Elections, Mark Wlaschin, is the main speaker. Mark will provide an overview of the new election laws that passed in the 2021 legislative session and how each will be implemented for our upcoming primary.
This presentation will provide reliable information from an expert in Nevada’s election laws. The meeting will remain on the Secretary of State’s Facebook page as a recording, so we can refer to it to answer questions we may hear from family and friends. You can see the meeting agenda here: https://vote-nevada.news/ACPD-March-22
This Saturday we will remember the Western Shoshone Dann Sisters, Mary and Carrie. Mary and Carrie fought to protect their treaty rights to graze horses and cattle on Bureau of Land Management land. Please join us from 9 to 10:30 am, via Zoom, by RSVPing here: https://vote-nevada.news/Dann-Sisters
Thank you for being Nevadans with me,
Sondra
