Dear League Supporters:

Thanks very much to everyone who participated in our silent auction and roundtable meeting. Without the hard work of our members and board members we’d be lost, so I’d like to specifically thank them.

Thanks to Beverly Abderrahman, her daughter, and her granddaughter, who worked their magic creating the beautiful baskets and gift arrangements, and who provided us with the yummy home-cooked breakfast. Thanks also to Kathleen Bienenstein, Bonnie Swadling, Betty Pardo, and Ann Smith for working so hard to gather the items for bid.  And thanks to Jan Biggerstaff for helping to manage the auction process.

Special thanks go out to our member Linda Miller who donated most of the fabulous items in our auction. Without her dedication and giving heart our League would be much poorer in spirit and funds.

Linda is also a dedicated supporter of the Mormon Fort, so I wanted to let you all know about two exciting events happening soon. The first is next weekend, Saturday Oct. 24^th, to celebrate Nevada Day and Halloween.
