Vote Nevada Supporters,

It’s Black History Month, so I would like to shine a great big spotlight on a Black woman who needs more attention.  We now recognize Dolores Huerta for her role in the worker rights movement, let’s do the same for Shirley Chisholm and her role in the civil rights movement. 

Shirley was the first Black woman elected to Congress and the first Black woman to run for president in one of the major parties.
